  Ordered a burrito double wrapped and they gave me a burrito bowl. I tried calling the store 3 times no answer. My girlfriend order a chicken bowl with barely any chicken in it as well. This is also not the first time from here

  I had to leave a review specifically because of Mason at the Chipotle on Main Street in Newark. This might sound funny, but this review is about the lettuce. 😂 I was actually planning to skip it because I’ve been cautious lately, and a lot of places serve lettuce that’s wilted or poorly prepared. Mason brought out a fresh batch and proudly told me, “I cut it this morning.” It was some of the cleanest, crispest, freshest lettuce I’ve seen in a long time. What really stood out wasn’t just the lettuce—it was the pride he took in his work. You could tell he genuinely cared about the quality of what he was serving, and that kind of integrity is becoming harder to find. It’s easy to overlook the small details, but those details make a huge difference to customers. Mason, thank you for taking pride in what you do. Employees like you are the reason people come back. I hope Chipotle recognizes the example you’re setting because outstanding customer service isn’t just about being friendly—it’s about caring enough to do the little things well.

  Worst chipotle in Delaware. This is why this location got people sick from Salmonella. Bunch of college kids working who don’t care. Everything super dry and mushy. Smells like a barn always in there. Just walk across to ROOTS or El Diablo

  am extremely disappointed with my experience at Chipotle. I understand the restaurant closes at 11:00 PM, but I arrived at 9:41 PM, and my receipt clearly shows that time. There was still over an hour before closing, yet several food items were already unavailable. There were no fajita vegetables, no black beans, and multiple items were running low or unavailable. Since I was unable to get several of the ingredients I wanted, I politely asked if I could have a small serving of guacamole substituted since I was still being charged full price for my meal. The manager immediately said no and was incredibly rude about it. What bothered me most wasn’t even being told no—it was the attitude. Customer service goes a long way, and there was no reason to be dismissive or disrespectful. The manager’s response was basically, “We still have a whole hour to go,” but if that’s the case, why were so many items unavailable? To make matters worse, the guacamole sitting there was already turning brown. I understand restaurants run out of items sometimes, but when customers are paying full price for incomplete orders, management should be willing to work with them instead of treating them like they’re asking for something unreasonable. A little courtesy and professionalism would have made all the difference. I left feeling frustrated, undervalued, and disappointed. Chipotle can do better.
