  I’ve been eating salads and healthy lunches for years, both homemade and at restaurants, so I was genuinely excited to try this place for the first time. Our office recently moved nearby, and I was actually planning to make this a regular lunch spot with my colleagues. Unfortunately, my first experience completely changed my mind. The way I was treated by the staff was shockingly disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. I have eaten at countless restaurants over the years, and I honestly cannot remember another experience where I felt this unwelcome as a customer. Good food can bring someone through the door once, but respect and customer service are what bring people back. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning.

  There’s an art to operational rhythm, and the team at Christiana Mall’s CAVA has it down to a science. Watching them work together behind the counter like clockwork sets the standard right out of the gate. Every ingredient was fresh, vibrant, and on point. When people take pride in both the process and the plate, it elevates everyday dining into an art of pure consistency.

  Julie’s comment below is accurate & nothing has changed here at cava it has only got worse . Waited for an hour and a half for my food. The lady wouldn’t call out the names that she had the bags for and she wouldn’t answer nobody when they would ask for their pick up order. She would just ignore them. Never had this experience anywhere I’ve ever eaten before horrible horrible customer service . Order was supposed to be ready at 8:15. I didn’t get it until 930 because it was sitting in the back ready and she never checked or would answer anybody to know what name she was looking for. She just stood there and would lay with her coworker and ignore us. There was no free drink for the wait or good customer service to try and make up for the long wait . Not to mention, you cannot cancel your order. They can’t cancel it in there. You can’t cancel it through the app.

  CAVA is one of those places where I always think, “I should honestly just make these bowls myself!” 😂 But there’s something about coming here every once in a while and having it made for me that makes it such a delight. Fresh ingredients, so many different flavors and combinations, and I get to build my bowl exactly how I’m craving it that day. Sometimes it’s just nice to treat yourself and let someone else make the bowl! 😋🥗 Definitely one of my little once-in-a-while treats.

  I ordered the BAHARAT lemon tahini, and they added rice and greens, he went to add the meat, but the meat container only had sauce left at the bottom. He poured that sauce on top and moved on to the next guy. I said, “does this have meat in it, or did you just put sauce on it?” First he said, “yeah, I don’t think there’s any,” and went to check the meat container, it was empty, because the meatless sauce from the bottom had already been put in my bowl. Then he came back and said, “actually there is meat in it, it just looks like this.” I said okay, took it, and ate it. there wasn’t a meat, they had just added sauce. I’ve been eating at CAVA for years, but I will never come back to this location again.
