  Last Thursday 7/16 I was picking up last minute items for a retirement lunch that day when I got a call that the lunch order a friend was picking up from a local restaurant was not going to be ready for at least 2 hrs (apparently they could not find our order). I had 25 guests to feed in less than 45 min!! This is where Acme associates saved the day! I went to the deli counter and Andrew (maybe Anthony) must have saw my panicked look and right away asked what he could do to help me! I asked how quickly i could get 50 pieces of Chicken? Dave spoke up and said he could prepare a box within a few minutes. While they were boxing the chicken I ran around picking up salads and things, I left my shopping cart at the deli and the large bag of ice I had sitting on the cart fell and busted all over the floor. When I returned to the deli your associates were cleaning up MY mess. This shopper is forever grateful for the kindness and excellent customer service I received that day. Thank you Thank you Thank you!

  Today I experienced difficulty at check out. The gentleman at the self checkout took the time to very patiently guide me how to access the coupon that I needed to use for one of my produce items. He made sure that I was successful and at the same time supervised the area to make sure everyone else was helped also. Exceptional service! (7/1/25)

  (Suburban Plaza - Newark DE) The associate who works at the Service Desk, Rita, is the best customer facing associate ever! She has a pleasant disposition and always greets you with a smile on her face. She is knowledgeable, professional, and infectiously cheerful. Rita impeccably represents the Suburban branch as well as the ACME brand in general.

  This review is for pickup service. The store is ok but the pickup service is not a good time. It's advertised as 'drive up and go', and it's what I use exclusively because I am disabled and have difficulty walking. Walmart has mostly young men who are pleasant, capable and quick. Acme sends out an older lady who clearly resents her job and lets everyone know it. I used to try to help unload the cart, but she just didn't do anything. At all. She dumped the cart and left and I had to flag down a cart boy to help me with my order. So I started staying in the car after a recent operation and she had attitude for days. I'm doing better and got out of the car this last time and she just stood there. I told her I could not pick up the water and she just looked at me. Another customer overheard me and he loaded the water up. This is unacceptable. I'm dreading that this woman is going to be the person I get and 90% of the time, it is her. I will just go to Walmart exclusively. At least I don't get attitude.
