  Food has either no flavor or the flavor is cilantro and jalapeno. No in-between. I found it all quite bland. The "bira" sauce eople have mentioned was some sort of oil plus tomato paste. I liked their salsa tho! Oh yeah. I ordered chicken tamale and got pork. Can't eat pork.

  It's okay. Not great. The food isn't bad but the prices have become outrageous and they have gotten so stingy. Attached are pictures of my extra guacamole that I paid $3 for, they gave me about a tablespoon. And nachos "with beans." It's so few beans it looks like they were applied lightly with a paint brush. Decent food but not worth the price. Used to be a lot better.

  I visited this restaurant a total of 3 times, the 3rd with my sister. Unbeknownst to me the entirety of the staff had held a grudge against me because I do not tip and thus after our lunch I was called a douche to my face by the waiter; as if such behavior warranted any tip other than "have some manners!" Alas on our way out she played their crane machine and won a stuffed animal but as a cherry on top of an already bad day it got stuck in the machine; things escalated and I did not leave on good terms. Despite this, days later I received a phone call from La Hacienda as I had left my number, and I was able to retrieve the stuffed animal for her; this shows a level of integrity that, while not enough to convince me to ever eat here again, is wholeheartedly appreciated and seldom found in the big '26. It is for this reason alone that I leave this review as opposed to something else.
