I placed an online order at 11 am to be picked up at 12. I get there at 12:15 and it’s not ready so I’m waiting and haven’t been helped. I waited for 20 minutes while they took 4 guests before me that came in after me. I then had to ask for my order. It’s still not ready 12:30 I can head back to work finally. Get there and my sub is soaking wet and wrong it doesn’t have sweet peppers on it. I took one bite and threw it away. I tried calling 3 times through out the day to get a refund and I was out on hold all 3 times for more then 10 minutes. So I gave up and here I am leaving a review cause of the poor service the terrible sandwhich and no way to get a hold of anyone for a refund. Meanwhile 7 people behind the counter can’t figure out where they are or what there doing. I managed a deli for 10 years and never had this issue. I will not be back.
How to ruin a sandwich. I moved here from PA a few years ago and have missed Primo ever since. Previously, I've had nothing but great experiences. Until now. I understand you're newly opened. I'll give a little leeway for that, however, what happened to my order wasn't excuseable even for a new restaurant. Here's how you screw up an experience. Are you ready Middletown Primo Hoagies? Here's a great short cut: Give me a bleeping stale roll for my sandwich. I had no complaint with the portioning of the meats, cheese, and toppings. None. But give me a rosin bag disguised as a sesame seed roll and I'll have a lasting disappointing first impression to share here on Google and anywhere else I can post this review. If you're charging a premium price you had better deliver a premium experience or you'll join the ranks of Steak and Shake, Arby's, Taco Reho, Dickey's, and Chicken House in purgatory. ( I haven't lived here long enough to know more restuarant failures.) I may come back and give you another shot but based on a terrible first impression it's going to take some time and more than a 3$ Whopper Wednesday discount. You know, it's true. They say you only get one first impression. If it wasn't for that roll you probably have my business regularly. However, I can get a better roll at: Capriotti's, Jersey Mike's, Ochinelli's, Miller's at the farmers market, Giant, Acme, Sprouts, Wawa, and even Jimmy John's. Don't give us crumbly dried out stale bread. Really? Of all the places to cheap out you chose the cheapest ingredient. It's not hard to figure out. Can you and will you?

I’m have been a loyal Primos customer for over 20 yrs, this is by far my favorite location, staff is great, food is always fresh and delicious! For the reviews i see saying food is not fresh etc. are flat out lying, and if your order was messed up i’m sure they fixed it and most likely offered you a free sandwich, and people please stop acting like y’all are so perfect and never make mistakes, talking about you won’t be back because of one mistake! Y’all perfect Patti people gets
on my nerves !!

Honestly extremely disappointed. I’ve had Primo hoagies many times in the past, but it has been a few years since I had one. I continue to see people in the MOT area posting about how wonderful their sandwiches were, and that this place would be their go to. I have been looking at the app and the website for days now wanting to try The chicken Caesar hoagie. There was barely any Caesar dressing on it maybe one cutlet cut into force and literally one piece of lettuce cut in half to fit on both sides of the bread. On top of that, the lettuce was brown. Very, very disappointed I hate to break it to you there’s another sandwich shop in the area that’s so much better than your Chicken Caesar hoagie.

I really wanted to like Primo's Turkey Breast & Cheese hoagie, because I'd heard good things. Unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The turkey was much saltier than I expected, the toppings didn't appear fresh, and the bread was hard rather than soft and fresh. Overall, the sandwich didn't meet my expectations, considering Primo's reputation. I hope this was just an off day, based on this visit, I was disappointed with the quality of the hoagie.
