  Really good food! I was surprised to see such a good variety of options on the menu! I loved my salad, got the gardener salad with grilled chicken and a side of lager sauce and ranch- the ranch was house made- so good!. My husband said the burger was really good! Pretzel came out super hot and fresh. The kids loved the playset and the hammocks

  I wanted to take a moment to provide feedback regarding the event hosted at Crooked Hammock on June 5, 2026. This review is based off of the event service and not the actual experience that we usually enjoy and have while at this establishment. First, I want to say that my family and I are frequent guests at this location. We truly enjoy the food, beer, and atmosphere, which is why choosing Crooked Hammock to host this special celebration was an easy decision. While the event was enjoyable overall, I was disappointed by the lack of communication and service throughout the evening. I arrived with the guests of honor at approximately 6:45 p.m. It took about five minutes for us to be escorted to our event space, which was understandable given that it was a busy Friday night. However, after the surprise and introductions, I noticed that guests did not have beverages, despite beverage service being included in my package. I asked the bartender whether guests who were not drinking alcohol should order their beverages directly from him. He explained that another staff member would be arriving shortly to take drink orders. Unfortunately, that never happened. I only saw a server enter the room a couple of times throughout the event, and guests who wanted a Non-Alcoholic drink had to go to the bar themselves for drinks. Considering I paid $3.95 per person, plus gratuity, for beverage service, I do not feel that this service was adequately provided. My second concern was the event location. I had specifically requested the Porch Bar area, but our party was placed elsewhere. In hindsight, because of the extreme heat that day, we were actually grateful to be indoors, so the location itself was not a major issue. However, it would have been appreciated if this change had been communicated to me in advance. Additionally, the restroom in our event area was out of service, which created an inconvenience for our guests. My third concern involved the cake service. I paid an additional $1 per person for the cake to be cut and served. While the cake was cut, it was simply brought back to the room. No one assisted with plating or distributing it to guests, so I ended up serving the cake myself. I would also like to recognize our bartender. He remained calm, professional, and friendly throughout the evening despite being very busy and clearly needing additional support. He seemed to genuinely enjoy his job, and we appreciated his efforts. On a positive note, the food was excellent. The macaroni and cheese was a particular favorite among our guests.

  I have been to this establishment several times… and have been pleased with each visit. However, on my latest visit to this restaurant my party and I experienced some difficulties. We ordered the Spinach & Artichoke dip with tortilla chips, and were appalled to find a long, thick hair in the bowl of chips. The chips were sent back, and we resumed. When we received our meals, we ate for a bit until a member of my party discovered a hair in her meal. To make it worse, I found a hair cooked into my burger!! Our waitress was very kind about the matter, and we got discounts as well as replacement meals. I was a bit eerie to eat my “new” meal but was pleased with the service. Have had better food experiences, but am hopeful for future visits!! Service was great!!!

  The Crooked Hammock has great outdoor activities for young and adults,and you can take your dog. The food was really good. My wife ordered a Cobb salad and I had a Special that had pork, potatoes, two fried eggs, sauce and a shot of hot sauce. It was all very good. My wife had coffee and I had a TART of Darkness which was one of the beers that they brew on the premises. It was a great lunch,lots of adults and children. Like I said, they have a Great outdoor area. You should go see for yourself. Wish they had one in Bel Air Md.

  Our first time here was pleasantly surprised! Came looking for just a place where we could bring our dog. The outside area is spacious and has plenty fun activity’s to do while waiting for our food. They brought a HUGE bowl of water for the dog and also ice cream. Our server bry was AMAZING and timely! Make sure you visit this place I had the farmhouse burger which was probably the best burger I’ve ever had!!!
