  Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I asked for a simple cup of water, and instead of being treated with basic courtesy, I was met with rude, disrespectful behavior. Both the employees and the manager were unprofessional and used abusive language toward me, which was completely unacceptable. The way I was treated made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. No customer deserves to be spoken to like that. The manager should have de-escalated the situation, but instead contributed to it. I left extremely disappointed and will never return to this location. I hope Chipotle corporate looks into how customers are being treated here because this level of disrespect is unacceptable.

  My daughter recently treated her parents to dinner and ordered two half-chicken, half-steak burrito bowls from Chipotle in Middletown. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The one positive was that the flavor was very good. The seasoning and overall taste were exactly what we expected from Chipotle. However, the portions were extremely lacking. Both bowls contained very little meat, despite being ordered with both chicken and steak. We also paid an additional $2.30 for queso, yet each bowl appeared to have no more than about a teaspoon added. For an upcharge, that was unacceptable. Another issue was the rice. Both bowls contained numerous hard pieces throughout, suggesting it was not cooked consistently. It negatively impacted the texture and enjoyment of the meal. What was perhaps most frustrating was the overall preparation of the order. The employee assembling the bowls seemed reluctant to accommodate even simple requests made by my daughter. Rather than feeling like a valued customer, she was made to feel as though every request was an inconvenience. The finished bowls were noticeably lightweight and far from the generous portions that customers have come to expect. This experience raises some questions: Is customer service being emphasized at this location? Are managers aware of employees whose attitudes may be affecting the customer experience? Does the Middletown Chipotle understand that repeated disappointments can drive loyal customers away? Sadly, this visit cost them two customers. When dining out has become increasingly expensive, customers expect reasonable portions, quality ingredients, and courteous service. While the flavor was there, the value and customer experience were not. I genuinely hope management takes customer feedback seriously and works to improve both service and consistency, because Middletown could certainly use more reliable and enjoyable takeout options.
