  My husband and I love coming out to the crocked Hammock, tonight was not the greatest experience, but then the manager Abbey made everything so perfect she was the greatest manager ever along with our server Lauren !! I would go back every night if we could !! Praise to the two beat employees ever for make and changing our experience to be the happiest ever

  So many things wrong with this restaurant. * The waitress brought the wrong dish to our table. We had them come back and pointed it out and they realized they’d mixed it up with another order. They took it to another table, grabbed a dish from that table, put it down in front of us and told us “It hadn’t been put down on the other table,” to try to avoid the food safety regulation that required she return both to the kitchen. * I tried four of the beers from different parts of the menu with descriptions ranging from light and fruity to floral and refreshing, and every single one was overbearingly bitter with none of the profiles described. * The food is mediocre and overpriced and they nickel and dime you on everything. My son ordered a club soda (tap water from the bar with carbonation). Any other place I’ve ever ordered that hasn’t charged for it, but this place charged it as a “bottomless” soda, $4.25.

  Came to the Crooked Hammock for lunch the day before the holiday, so we expected a bit of a wait, but were able to find a spot at the bar pretty quickly. My friend and I got a couple rounds of drinks, the nachos, and the tajin watermelon (if you haven't tried this, YOU NEED TO! It's the perfect, cooling, refreshing dish you can have!) Our server/bartender was John and he was the kindest, friendliest, and hardworking guy we could ask for (everyone was, actually!)! I know the holiday season can be packed, overwhelming, and HOT, but, I felt compelled to leave this review because no matter what, the entire staff kept such a happy and fun environment and truly deserve the credit! Thank you all for making it a great kickoff to the holiday weekend! And best of luck in your last year of college, John! :)

  I am writing to share what a wonderful experience my husband and I had at Crooked Hammock Brewery in Lewes this evening. Despite the restaurant being very busy, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated indoors immediately after initially being told there would be a 25-minute wait. I especially want to commend our server, Andrew J., who was exceptional. He was professional, personable, and provided excellent menu suggestions that truly enhanced our meal. We were also very impressed with the speed of service; our order of the pulled pork and smash burger arrived within 10-15 minutes and both were delicious. We finished our visit with the lemon blueberry cheesecake, which was fantastic. Thank you for providing such great service.   Today's experience, Father's Day, was exceptional. We have a large family and serving us can be a challenge. Andrew did an amazing job managing our requests and family. The order accuracy with the modifications were spot on. Additionally, the staff as a whole, from the hostess to the runners made us feel like friends/family. The food was top notch as well, so compliments to the kitchen staff. Food was well prepared and came out in a timely fashion. I particularly enjoyed the grilled steak skewers, great recommendation by Andrew. The cherry on top was the atmosphere with the live band. We will definitely be back!
