  This was my first visit to Wayback in Delmar, DE, and it did not disappoint. We both customized our burgers; you can pick all your toppings including cheese and sauces and any other add-ons. The milk shakes are thick and delicious. The dining area is clean and so are the bathrooms. The kitchen is open with a large window; I always love an open kitchen.

  Always like this place but they need to have at least 2 people on at a time. They are trying to get away with only having one person cashier, cook and clean. Mistakes are bound to happen…

  Second chance visit yesterday. I’m told there’s a new manager……IT MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE! The place is sparkling clean, the staff was delightful, and our order was perfect. This place is a great addition to our food service community. I’m now looking forward to trying something else on the menu! P.S. Try one of the milkshakes. 👍🏼👍🏼

  Well, not the most amazing experience but not the worse, either. Not a grab and go place (which is fine)- took about 15 mins to get food because they cook to order. The facility was grungy, though you can tell they tried to be modern with the design. Burger was $13 and shockingly small. I don’t mind a $13 burger if I get my money’s worth, but this fella was LITTLE and dry. The bacon, cheese, fry bowl with added lettuce and jalapeños (also $13) saved the day. It was not overly hot but boy it was good. Overall I wouldn’t go back, but I’ll be thinking of that bowl for a while.
