  I found something that seems like smaller rocks (three of them, same size) in the food lion pinto beans. I put water on them and they starts to melt immediately and smells bad. They are not rocks, I believe they are animal feces. I hope they were not planted in the pack of beans intentionally. Imagine not finding them, you’ll cook and eat without knowing.

  Great selection of fresh produce and friendly staff! I always find what I need, and the prices are pretty competitive. Love stopping by for my grocery runs!

  I have visited this store on multiple occasions and have had several interactions with an employee named Christian Ward at the customer service desk. Each time I have asked for assistance, he has been rude and unprofessional. He often fails to acknowledge customers when they approach for help and does not provide courteous customer service. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but this behavior has occurred on numerous occasions. I wanted to bring this to management’s attention because customer service should be respectful and welcoming to all customers.

  I had a very upsetting checkout experience at this location. When I handed the cashier my reusable bag after I believed the previous customer was finished, she responded in a rude and confrontational way and told me not to “shove” the bag at her before she was done with the person in front of me. I calmly told her that she did not need to speak to me that way, but the interaction continued with an unprofessional attitude. When I asked for her name because she was not wearing a visible name tag, she refused to provide it and said that I would never find her name, and told another employee not to give it to me. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager on duty, Nick, listened to my concerns and identified the cashier to me as Nicole. He told me that he would address the issue. I appreciate that Nick took the time to speak with me, but the cashier’s behavior was unnecessary and disrespectful. I have been shopping at this location for more than 10 years, and the employees have always been very friendly. That is why I was especially surprised and disappointed by this interaction. I never expected to be treated this way at a store I have visited for so long. I understand that retail work can be stressful, but customers should still be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism. I hope management follows up on this.
