    This is my last food delivery purchase from Chipotle Mexican Grill, Camden, DE. I have been disappointed with the dwindling quality of the food and the lack of quality control. There is almost always something missing from my order, this time it was the queso sauce. Last time it was the chips and salsa. My typical order is the steak barbacoa for my husband and a chicken bowl for myself. The beef bowl is usually overflowing while the chicken bowl is usually anemic and sad with very little chicken and a whole lot of romaine lettuce. This food is not cheap, therefore, I would like to get what I paid for: quality, quantity, and proper service. It is impossible to actually talk to a live person, what's the point of having a phone number on your website if I cant speak to someone about my order. While on this topic, the automatic response system is quite an experience. The tone is unfriendly and not helpful. It tricks you into believing, (after a whole lot of effort), that it has transfered you to the (Camden) restaurant in order to speak to someone there, and after a while the call is conveniently disconnected. I called back twice and had the same thing happen.

    I always go to this chipotle & have a somewhat ok experience today was just unacceptable they ran out of beans while making my bowl so I only had not even a teaspoon of beans on there before they ran out and instead of just asking me to wait on the beans so they can put the correct portion the person just tried to leave my bowl like that and when I said something he got an attitude throwing his hands saying “we’re out of beans they are making it” the amount I’m being charged I’m not just going to accept my bowl being half way made sorry but I walked out the price of things are just too expensive nowadays to just pay for something half way made and I didn’t get that guys attitude I’m sure he wouldn’t wanna pay for an overpriced bowl with only like 5 beans for a whole bowl smh playing with ppl food & money. Disappointing because like I said I always go to this one and never had an experience like this.

    Went for lunch today ordered 2 bowls 1 pork, 1 vegetarian. Took the pork but not the vegetarian which was supposed to come with guacamole. How do you not have guacamole? Big disappointment.

    I visited the restaurant with my two children, ages 7 and 11. Each child ordered a burrito bowl inside the restaurant — one with steak and one with chicken. The store was very busy, and the line was moving quickly while the children selected their toppings. After we sat down to eat, the children realized the bowls had been mixed up. The toppings and ingredients intended for the steak bowl were on the chicken bowl and vice versa. Because the orders were incorrect, I returned inside the restaurant to politely explain the situation and request the correct bowls. I was instructed to throw both bowls into the trash at the register and then get back in line for replacements. After waiting in line again and receiving the corrected bowls, I was shocked when the manager told me I had to pay for the replacement meals. I did not understand why I was being expected to pay again for an error that was clearly made by the restaurant staff. The manager’s attitude throughout the interaction was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional — not only toward me, but also toward my young children. When I explained that I did not believe I should have to pay again for food that had originally been prepared incorrectly, the manager instructed the cashier to take the replacement bowls and throw them away in the back. I then asked for the manager’s name because I intended to report the incident to corporate customer service. The manager responded by saying that I “didn’t need her name.” This entire experience was embarrassing, frustrating, and completely unacceptable. No customer — especially families with children — should be treated in this manner over a simple order correction. After reading online reviews for the Camden, Delaware Chipotle location, I noticed this store has some of the lowest customer ratings in the state. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I can understand why. The behavior displayed by this manager reflects poor leadership, poor customer service standards, and unacceptable management practices.
