  Surprisingly, friendly cashiers. Basic grocery store. Clean every time I go in! Produce is surprisingly fresh. No frills nothing fancy. They do not cut fresh meat to order. Usually no wait or a very short wait to check out.

  This is another fantastic grocery spot. It rivals target pretty well, and for certain items, also gives Costco a good run for its money. They have all sorts of food options, from fresh groceries, fruits, to frozen meats and even ready to eat items. They have good offers on drink items as well. Definitely a good place to get your eats.

  I was checking out and the clerk rang up a bag of potatoes and it was $16!!! I questioned it 3 times!! Every time he did it the price was $16!! He chucked it up to that’s what the price is. I get to the door and automatically saw why it was so much. He was ringing me up for FOUR of the FIVE POUND BAGS of potatoes. So I go to customer service and waited 10 darn minutes!! I had to leave because I had a car full of frozen and refrigerated groceries!! Three times I questioned him. THREE TIMES!! Then I try to figure out why it’s so much and you can’t even talk to anyone in customer service. Food Lion did me really dirty today. I go to the Food Lion all the time. Not anymore!!!

  So I went into Food Lion the other day and it was not crowded. I went To check out aisle number 2 ( not express) with about eight items. I laid my items on the belt. I grabbed two meat sticks that were standing by the checkout and put them on the belt also. The black cashier said to me "you're not adding any items to your Order". Those items are there for last-minute checkout. She's the only person that's ever said this to me. I'm assuming it was because I was white. I don't know how she was triggered by this? The only thing possible was my skin color.It's not like my groceries were already bagged up . So they called Tara the manager over and because I wanted to film the interaction as they said they were gonna call the cops on me. I spent $500 a week in this store to be treated this way is absolutely absurd. I know without filming it they can make up anything they want to. It's called gaslighting. I've got Acne and ShopRite right down the street they'll now be my go to places I will never step foot in the store that gets away with treating their customers that way.
