  The food is outstanding. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. We had tickets for a show after dinner. They made sure we were seated and served with enough time to get to the theater, without feeling rushed.

  I haven't been to Oceanaire in 4-5 years because of poor service and unimpressive in the past. Joined a group(5people) there last night. This restaurant did not surprise me. Service was unbelievably slow. Complaint to the manager followed by excuses. When the Halibut special came out, it was definitely overcooked, but not worth trying to send back for another 45-60 minute delay. I give this a solid 1-2 stars

  Took me a few days to post this but it needs to be addressed. I had reservation’s for Mother’s Day dinner and had a horrible experience. First, the server I had was all over the place and speaking while I was speaking. Next, the appetizer was okay and the first drink. I ordered my entree with a second drink and the food came out cold, the drink took about 30 minutes to arrive. I waited on a knife that never came a server in all black came to bring me one. The manager eventually came out and seem to be a little rude at first, I had to explain to him that I wasn’t a child and you will speak with me with respect. He then says the chef said my food was brought out to my table 25 minutes earlier which is not true. I took a picture before with the date and time and showed to the manager. He then apologized about the miscommunication. The food was recooked but by that time I was so upset that my evening was ruined. The server was so so rude to the other workers yelling at them, throwing stuff down, and so on. There was also another table who experienced an issue as well next to me. The manager did take care of it in the end with the food but the total experience was unbelievable and unacceptable! I will never come to this location again and they need to train the staff much better. This is suppose to be a upscale restaurant and it’s not giving that. I work hard and spend my money were I get quality service and treatment, this was not it.

  I recently celebrated my 40th birthday diner at The Oceanaire Seafood Room, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was absolutely amazing. Our event coordinator "Ethan" was exceptional professional, attentive, and made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. Every detail was handled with care, from the seating arrangements to the beautiful ambiance that made the evening feel so special. The food was outstanding every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The drinks were perfect, and the servers were friendly, attentive, and made sure all of our guests felt welcomed and taken care of throughout the night. The atmosphere was elegant, warm, and perfect for such a milestone celebration. My guests were still talking about how wonderful everything was, from the service to the overall experience. Thank you Ethan and the entire team The Oceanaire Seafood Room for helping make my "Adwoa at 40th" birthday dinner so memorable. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion in style!

  American express Platinum recommended Oceanaire in DC. It was our first visit to this city. We are very familiar with Landry restaurants as we are regular customers at Mastro's and the Ocean Club. Oceanaire did not disappoint. Our server, Paige, was perfect. Great personality, very helpful and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed dinner and our time there. My wife and I split the Dover Sole with asparagus. Excellant. Paige mad sure we had a great dessert. Much more than we could finish. Great dinner, great server, great time.
