- MMMario M5 days ago1.0Visiting a relative for the 4th July, I have never seen abled bodies employees who are so mean and grumpy. Customer service is non-existent. I heard through a regular customer there is so much shop lifting and thievery that in store security services are incompetent and useless. It's a shame it's a nice store and seems to be well stocked. I wouldn't be surprised it this store closes in a few years times. Additionally, their canned and automated response tells you Safeway does really care! Why bother shopping here where you can shop somewhere else without the security guard standing next to you video recording your shopping needs. Clearly it is an invasion of personal and privacy. I can it see coming - lawsuits everywhere.

- RHRachel HastingsJun 10, 20261.0I’m used to them pulling hijinks trying to get customers to leave the store once the clock hits 9:45 (they’ll close off entire aisles and tell us we can only shop at the front of the store and hassle us to leave), but tonight I watched them closed the doors at 9:55 saying they’re not letting any customers in. I get it, you want to go home early, but they were literally using their bodies to block the doors, arguing with and laughing at this man who was just begging to come in to grab one item. There’s also terrible customer service even when it’s the middle of the day—they pretend they don’t see you when you’re asking a question, they’re almost never helpful and just have an attitude all the time. It’s like whoever is responsible for hiring at this Safeway decided that they were going to recruit the rudest people they can find. The pharmacy staff is great though.
