  Never any shopping carts available! Like they don't care anymore.

  People asking for money right before you walk in the door, people inside asking you to buy them food before you check out. There’s never any shopping carts for some reason. Cashiers are rude or just completely ignore you. Self check out people are usually nice though, place is pretty clean.

  I ordered food from the store online the manager of the store. Scott refuses to return my money after either one of the employees or the driver stole my food. I have been waiting for a refund allegedly from the eighth that shouldn’t take that long and when I look on my app, it still says that my food is being delivered from July 8 today is July 17. I have spoke with corporate they said that Scott should’ve just canceled my order and returned my funds but instead he’s holding my funds up and refuses to give them now I have to report him to BBA and further things when he knows either one of his employees or the DoorDash driver, they contract to do deliveries that I was unaware of stole my food one of his employees by the name of Patrice confirmed all of these things, and he still will not refund my money saying that DoorDash is responsible, even though I ordered it through Safeway app and DoorDash has nothing to do with me as a manager of a store. Scott should know better. He doesn’t know the protocols because once he was reported to Safeway, they said that he’s lying about the process of return returning funds. As the manager of the store, Scott should return my funds and be more empathetic with his customers. His service is horrible at that store and he doesn’t know what he’s doing, and I believe he needs to go back and get more training and learn how to treat his customers and deal with the thieves that’s working in his store.

  The staff always seems to hate their job and their existence, which is totally relatable but also unfair to the customers reliant on this location cuz there aren’t many other options. Their hot bar is often cold and closes very early at varying times, and they are often out of stock of different staples. The aisles are also super cramped, so be wary of running into other people physically. I’ve been in the area and using this spot for several months, and it makes me wish I could trust ordering groceries from an online place.
