Natural high quality seasoned red wine. Made from selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, grown in the southern part of Moldova. The wine has a ruby red color with garnet reflex. The scent is reminiscent of a large part of the berries as dewberry, strawberry and raspberry. The taste is full, soft body accentuated with fruity taste by the acquired in the oak flavor. The Perfect accompaniment to grilled fillet steak, semi-aged cheeses, fried mushrooms.
Château Vartely Sauvignon Blanc is a generous bouquet of fresh aromas dominated by invigorating citrus notes. Its pleasant taste leaves a faint memory of black currant leaves. The grapes are harvested in vineyards in the heart of Moldova's Codru region. ABV 12%

Wanted to enjoy but would not recommend this place. The food itself wasn’t bad, but the portion of the guacamole was laughably small for the price (about half an avocado worth) and the service was the slowest I’ve experienced in D.C. I don’t blame our waiters (who were very friendly), but it took far too long to even receive our drinks and our check (which I had to ask for twice and finally received half an hour after I asked the first time). Management seems to be the problem. I also had to give my name and phone number once I arrived to even get a table, and when I questioned why it was needed and clarified whether this was to make a reservation, the host said it was in case something was left behind and they needed to contact me. That makes no sense at all. Wouldn’t I just contact the restaurant if I lost something? Overall: would not recommend, there are far better restaurants in D.C. to visit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Capitol Hill’s best-kept secret (that locals are quietly keeping to themselves)
Found this place the way you find the good ones — not from an algorithm, but from someone who actually lives here pointing and saying “go there.”
Paraiso Taqueria is that rare thing on Capitol Hill: a Mexican restaurant that manages to be completely authentic and genuinely upscale without losing the soul of a neighborhood spot. The menu isn’t trying to impress anyone — it just does. Duck carnitas on blue tortillas next to a perfectly balanced blue curaçao margarita is not a combination you stumble into. Someone who loves this food thought that through.
The America 250 Combo ($25 — three signature tacos, three margaritas) is absurdly good value for what lands on your table, but the real story is the room itself. It feels like the owner’s wife is in the kitchen and the owner knows your name. Warm, unhurried, with music that makes you lean into conversation instead of talk over it.
Capitol Hill has no shortage of places to eat. It has very few places that feel like yours. Paraiso feels like yours after the first visit.
The locals already know. Now you do too

Consistently great food, drinks and service. It's a favorite neighborhood gem of mine. I've been several times for dinner and brunch. And I've never had a bad meal or drink. I also love the Mezcal flights!

My husband and I have been meaning to try this place for a while now. Our overall reaction was "meh". The interior is beautiful. The service was fine even with a few mistakes. The real problem is the food. My husband got the shrimp tacos with mango habanero salsa, of which there was a lot of salsa. The issue is that it tasted like neither mango nor habanero. I got the birria tacos, but the cinnamon overwhelmed this dish. The portion size was also a surprise. The tacos seemed smaller than a 'street taco', or less than 3 inches diameter. With 3 tiny tacos, our meals left us hungry. I can see how this place could be popular for tourists and local businesses, but this local will not be back.

The food is PRICEY, and yet they cut corners on basic customer service. Even simple things like napkins and utensils wasn’t included in my pick up order. You have to ask for EVERYTHING. The restaurants is unnecessarily stingy.
