The pizza was really delicious and arrived fast. The whole team pitched in to help. It was refreshing to watch the teamwork of Danny, Billy and Mayren. Javier, the manager, was on top of everything. Don't miss this place when you are in DC

They acted like they were busy inside….not a soul in site, why? It’s a strip mall outside of the zoo which equals families and people want to sit down and cool off! Asked about sitting outside and you would think I asked for free food. It was a total inconvenience. Yeah pizza was good but might want to rethink your business model during the day! Went to Jersey mikes where the other half of the family went to eat, ate inside with them, in the air conditioned space! Thank you Jersey Mike’s for bailing out Mika’s!
- MMMaria MartinezJun 7, 20263.0Everything about this dining experience was simply OK. Not great, not terrible. The server forgot we were outside so I had to go inside to ask for menus. When the menus were brought out to us they were greasy and dirty, which was unpleasant. We ordered a gnocchi pasta and a margarita pizza, the former was good, the latter came cold and was overpowered by the sun dried tomato taste. By cold I mean the cheese had congealed and didn’t stretch like mozzarella usually does. We came an hour before closing so perhaps they were tired and understaffed. Wasn’t terrible, just don’t see myself craving a return anytime soon as a local.
- BBBaharsonJun 3, 20262.0Nice atmosphere, average food, bad service. We got some of their pizzas and breakfast item. Both pizza in general were so plain, and the dominant flavor was the salt. Mine had lots of olives which I like but comparing the other toppings it was too much. The margarita pizza also did not have that flavor you would expect. Only salt. The breakfast item was missing the eggs 😂 when I had a chance to get the waiter’s attention I got my water refilled finally and he went back to check about the missing eggs. Then someone else seemed like a manager and owner apologized and gave us $2 discount for the missing eggs of a breakfast item 😂
