Every plate showed real care and attention to detail. The atmosphere strikes a great balance: upscale and lively without feeling stuffy, with live piano music adding a nice touch to the evening. Service was excellent throughout — attentive, knowledgeable, and well-paced, making the whole meal feel effortless. Whether it's a special occasion or just a great night out in DC, Mastro's is a reliable choice for anyone who wants a memorable steakhouse experience. Highly recommend.

  Exceptional experience in every way! Grateful to celebrate a special occasion with a dear friend with Maestro’s. The service, cuisine, cocktails, wine and sophisticated vibe all made for a perfect dinner outing. Following dinner it was great to have a cocktail and glass of champagne at the bar area. Comfortable leather wrapped seating, World Cup viewing, and quiet atmosphere. Great bar staff!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mastro’s in Washington D.C. delivered one of the most incredible fine-dining experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly at the front door and took absolutely amazing care of us the entire night. Our waiter Ren is always exceptional — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. When we had a little spill, they instantly changed the entire tablecloth with zero fuss. That level of service is unmatched! The food was next-level. We started with the Wagyu roll, Wagyu carpaccio with extra arugula, and fried calamari — all flawless. The 7 oz American Wagyu fillet and lobster tail were show-stoppers, alongside the Norwegian cold water salmon. Sides like the creamy mac & cheese, broccolini, and potatoes were perfect. We washed it all down with classic Old Fashioneds, refreshing Aperol Spritzes, and five glass-bottle Coca-Colas. We finished with both the chocolate sin cake and chocolate layer cake — pure decadence. Talk about a meal! Everything was outstanding in flavor, presentation, and quality. Mastro’s is pure excellence. We’ll be back every time we’re in D.C. Highly, highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
