  Booked a reservation for 11pm. Upon arrival I was told downstairs was closed, so I couldn’t sit in the restaurant and eat, although I visibly saw people eating there. Upstairs has loud music, as there was a private ent going on. Had to order my food at the bar standing and some lady won’t stop walking up telling me they are having a private event. Ordered my food to go, the beef Patty was VERY OILY, the jollof rice is a -10 stars! The jerk chicken was just ok, although too spicy! They won’t even let me sit down and eat my food. Such terrible experience

  From the music, to the food, to the customer service - top tier. Janasia and Lola got me right. I’ve been to spots up and down H st and this right here is the best kept secret.

  The food was awlful, the waiter forgot part of the order. The chicken was the size of a small square bun. I was so disappointed. The bill was to expensive for what we received. I will never go here again!

  Tables were dirty. The place smelled like old fried fish and pee. The jerk chicken sandwich was a joke and cost $22 for the sandwich only. No fries or salad. The chicken was a morsel and looked questionable. The double smash burger $25.00 lacked lettuce and tomatoes. They forgot the truffle fires and when the did come out, there was no hint of truffle and soggy. Only old bay and parsley. The service was good. I didn't have a cocktail because I was already disappointed in the food.

  Had such an amazing time! We did the speakeasy cocktail class and Lola was an absolute super star and so so funny!!! Best choice we made for our wedding anniversary date! The vibes were perfect and the class was intimate and lovely! Highly recommend and the food was banger after!
