Went here for a girls dinner and had a great time. Food was great and we were bake to get a seat quickly. Our server Zulya (not sure if I'm spelling that right) was great and very attentive! 10/10 would go again

We stopped here during a DC tour but not expecting much since... well, figured it would be kindof a tourist spot. SO WRONG. Best chips and salsa (pico?) I've had in a while. Food was flavorful and delicious. Drinks were ON POINT (reg and Cadillac margs). Highly recommend if you're a tourist like us or locals (but I'm sure they already know about itđ€Łđ€). Not sure how to add pics or I would have!

The food and service are always great, but today was truly outstanding. Our waiter, Miguel, went above and beyond to make our experience special. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. He made us feel so welcome and genuinely cared that we had a great time. Thank you, Miguel, for your exceptional serviceâweâll definitely be back!

I really wanted to like this location because I had such a great experience at the Vienna Guapoâs, but this one didnât live up to the hype.
I came during happy hour expecting a fun atmosphere, especially being right by the waterfront. Instead, there was no happy hour outside, barely any music inside, and the whole place felt unusually quiet. The energy was so low that it honestly felt like nobody wanted to be there.
For food, I ordered medium done chicken and steak fajitas, and my girlfriend had the quesadilla. Unfortunately, the food was overcooked and parts of the food were burnt, which was disappointing.
The one highlight was the drinksâthey were well made and definitely the best part of the visit.
Overall, the location has a lot of potential because of where itâs situated, but it needs better food quality and a much livelier atmosphere to match the experience Iâve had at other Guapoâs locations.
Absolutely unacceptable experience at Guapoâs Georgetown. We came at around noon Thursday July 9th and Iâve been coming here since I was a kid and it honestly pains me to write this. We ordered steak and chicken fajitas, steak medium rare. First plate came with only overcooked steak. When we flagged it, our server, Natalia, rolled her eyes, got defensive, and argued instead of just fixing the mistake. She even argued over how many pieces of meat were supposed to come with the dish, as if we were the problem. The replacement was still wrong, at that point, we were so worn down, we didnât even want to keep going back and forth. We asked for a manager (she was wearing a pink shirt and another server said her name was danaryes). She argued with us too, raising her voice and showing zero concern for customer service. Then they sent a different server to collect our payment, which made it feel like they didnât even want to face us. We werenât asking for a free meal, we said weâd pay for the drinks and sides. Just not full price for messed up fajitas. Instead, we paid the full 110 dollars and left feeling disrespected and furious. After this, we wonât be back. Food mistakes happen, but the way we were treated was inexcusable.
