  Lowest prices in the area but at the cost of a guaranteed abrasive experience. Manager’s Special, Sales, Coupons, and Giant Rewards have saved me thousands over the years, yet I always leave unhappier than I came in. A true Love-Hate Relationship

  Used to like to do grocery at this Giant, however today I had to inconvenience with two of their employers one after the other. The first one was at the self checkout, she came to me to offer a “$120 coupon if you donate $5 for children with cancer”. I said no thank you, and she went away from me, then came back again asking “you don’t have $5 to donate for children with cancer?!” Excuse me???? Who said I am obligated to donate money in the name of a huge ass company? No, thanks for the harassment. The second one was a tall guy, who started shouting at me saying that I was impatient, after I asked, politely, excuse me at the door when I trying to leave.

  I had a very disappointing experience today with an employee named Donna while visiting the store with my service dog, Easton. As I was waiting in line to purchase food, Easton briefly sniffed the candy bars near the checkout. The candy was fully sealed, and he did not touch, damage, or interfere with any merchandise. Despite this, Donna made a big deal out of the situation and commented on it in front of other customers, which made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. To avoid further conflict, I chose to switch to another checkout lane and tried to de-escalate the situation. However, Donna then called the manager over to speak with me about my service dog, even though I had already removed myself from the interaction. I understand that employees have responsibilities regarding store policies, but the way I was treated felt unnecessary and humiliating. I would have appreciated being approached respectfully and discreetly rather than being singled out in front of other customers. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that other customers who rely on service animals are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.
