  Really awesome family owned operation that serves great food- highly recommend the hearty quesadilla and/ or broccoli cheddar soup. Especially love the sauce that is drizzled on the quesadilla and hope it gets added to more dishes! New location has great vibes and is, personally, way more convenient via the green line. Can't wait for the rumored ice cream to be added to the menu, and I'm very excited to see what else Fruitive has coming in the future.

  Healthy, nutritious, and delicious. We met the owner, nice guy! You definitely need to try the ice cream, the date banana smoothie, the Tuscan wrap, and the ranch salad. Oh, and the avocado toast! Though, if you don't like cucumbers, you might want to ask them to take it out. I don't like cucumbers, lol. But everything was more than awesome if your vegetarian and visiting DC.

  fruitive has great healthy food in washington dc! i had a great experience here, from the spacious and welcoming interior to the friendly staff to the delicious food! i tried the hail to the kale salad and southwest protein wrap, both of which were packed with veggies and cooked up deliciously. the portions were fair and everything was very fresh. i love a great kale salad and this one definitely did not disappoint. both items were tasty and filling. staff were super friendly and helpful. the location was designed beautifully and had plenty of seating. i would definitely recommend checking it out, especially if you're already a fan of their other location!

  ​I am writing this review to warn others, especially women, to stay away from this business. During a recent visit, the behavior of the owner made my girlfriend and me feel incredibly uncomfortable and completely unsafe. ​No one should ever have to feel on edge, threatened, or targeted when simply trying to support a local business. The environment here is deeply unprofessional and left us with a horrible feeling. I strongly advise all women to avoid this establishment for their own peace of mind and personal safety. We will absolutely never be returning, and I urge others to spend their money somewhere they are actually respected and safe

  If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Fruitive was absolutely unacceptable, and I highly recommend taking your money literally anywhere else. I ordered a large drink and was explicitly charged for a large. When my order came out, they handed me a small. Mistakes happen, but when I brought the issue to the staff's attention, instead of simply apologizing and fixing their error, they had the audacity to blame me for the mix-up. They refused to correct the order, offered zero accountability, and essentially gaslit me after overcharging me. Beyond the atrocious customer service and the refusal to give me what I paid for, it was the overarching atmosphere and the way I was treated that really disgusted me. As a Black gay man, the dismissive and hostile attitude from the staff made it abundantly clear that I was not welcome. You can tell a lot about an establishment by how they handle simple interactions, and the complete lack of basic respect made me feel entirely excluded and targeted. Save your money, your time, and your peace of mind. Do not support a business that overcharges its customers, refuses to take accountability for its own mistakes, and fosters an environment where minorities are treated with such blatant disregard. Fruitive is the absolute worst.
