- KLKarl LouiseSep 28, 20265.01st Indian meal in Washington DC. Excellent atmosphere sparked a great family conversation about loved ones loved and lost. The food was tremendous with lots of it and for DC I was pleasantly surprised by the price. What really surprised me was the following night we walked past the window from a different restaurant, and were awarded with waves from the restaurant staff who remembered us from the previous night. As o say great atmosphere and would come back if ever back in this city. As an afterthought the Metro subway is easy, cheap and great way to get around.

The food is incredible, there's plenty to choose from, the service is friendly and welcoming, the dining room is beautiful and charming, the location is great (Cleveland Park is a wonderful DC neighborhood), and the value for the price is excellent. I brought family from the UK here who absolutely love and grew up on Indian food and they also found the food and experience to be exquisite. Highly recommend! Edit to add: it is also incredibly easy to get here by Metro or bus. Metro will be your best bet, as the Cleveland Park Metro station (red line) is right outside the door. There is also a bike rack outside the Metro station.

Both were decent, but they didn't quite have the authentic South Indian flavors we were hoping for. The food was good overall, just not as traditional as expected. If you're looking for Indian food in the area, it's a reasonable option, but if you're specifically after authentic South Indian cuisine, it may not fully satisfy that craving.

Le repas était excellent. C'était la première fois que nous testions le Dosa et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Petit regret, le riz donné avec le mouton n'était pas très parfumé et la portion était un peu juste. Nous reviendrons essayer d'autre plats indiens que nous ne connaissons pas.
- VLVincent LiuSep 19, 20265.0The food here is very flavorful and even brought up fond memories as (I know this is an Indian restaurant) I had eaten with Afghans and reminded me of their food. It’s not heavy at all and yet can fill you up without weighing you down. The staff refilled my glass with plenty of water and very friendly. My dad had his birthday here and let me just say the dessert they brought out is very good. Just right amount of sweetness. You won’t go wrong going to this restaurant.
