  Wow! I’d say this is some of the best food I’ve had in DC, and that’s saying a lot because I’ve had a lot of great meals! This was my first time eating at Chicatana and my only regret was waiting so long. The food is incredible! The ceviche’s in particular were outstanding. We had scallop aguachile, mixto, and kamp tiradito and they all $18 or less each and absolutely bursting with freshness and flavor. The mole ribs (a special) were mind blowing and the shrimp sopes were the best I’ve had. Tacos. Tlayuda. Tres leche. No notes. 100/10. Already planning a return trip If this was my neighborhood restaurant I’d be there once a week!!

  10/10 vibes sitting outside with food and drinks in the spring sunshine. The margaritas were immaculate and the snacks were impeccable.

  Wonderful place with great food and people. Was a chilly evening so not able to take advantage of eating outside to people watch. Try the Guerrero Margarita! Nice kick!!! And though I didn’t have the Pollo con Mole (I love mole sauce) they did provide a little saucer of mole to eat with my chips. Very tasty with a good Smokey flavor.
