  Great service! Every single employee were very attentive,clean and happy. They’re bilingual english/spanish, flor at the register was great definitely coming back

  Flor is the best! She always making sure my food is great and the service is amazing. Always happy to come get cava not only because it taste good but the experience is always good

  I always have a positive experience at CAVA in Foggy Bottom, especially with the afternoon crew! They’re kind, attentive, always in a good mood, and generous with the protein portions. I love attempting my Spanish with them, and they always make me feel welcome

  I ordered a bowl with steak from this location on Sunday, 9/13 and developed food poisoning within a few hours: nausea, cramping, and repeated vomiting that carried into the next day. I hadn't eaten anything else that day, and the timing lines up squarely with the meal here. Steak is one of the higher-risk proteins if it's not held or cooked properly, and given how quickly and severely I got sick, I'd urge management to review their temperature logs and handling procedures for that station specifically. This isn't a minor complaint, it's a food-safety issue that could make someone else seriously ill. I won't be back, and I can't recommend this location until they can show this was addressed.
