We are in DC visiting and staying at a nearby Airbnb. We ended up DoorDashing from here and it was 10/10 for flavor, spice, quality and portions. We got chicken pad thai, beef drunken noodles, satay chicken, crab Rangoons and the Akeno sushi roll. We consider ourselves to be picky for this type of food and where we live there's only a select few places we order from and this hit it out of the park for us!!

Ordered delivery and was very happy with quality and taste. The order arrived 40 minutes before the longest quoted time, so was nice and quick. All packaged well.
Ordered a red dragon roll, double toro roll, miso soup, and the premium sashimi plate. The rolls were great. Shrimp tempura in the dragon roll was crisp and delicious. The orange vinaigrette on toro roll was delicious and the fish all tasted very fresh and good. The sashimi plate was excellent. Cuts of fish were generous and the variety was wonderful. So fresh, so tasty. Much more than a lot of other places that put in your typical boring fish. There was definitely some belly, plenty of variety and not a boring old “tuna hamachi salmon” kind of plate. Also, they tucked in lots of shiso, which I personally love. You can tell they really take their craft seriously. Highly recommend.

The restaurant charged an 18% service fee for our party of 2, but the menu only mentioned a 20% surcharge for parties of 4 or more. We were surprised by the undisclosed fee, especially since the payment terminal still prompted us to leave a tip. Because we didn’t notice the service fee until after selecting a tip, we ended up tipping about 25% total. If a service fee applies to parties of 2, it should be clearly disclosed before guests are seated or when ordering.
The food was mediocre. We ordered the drunken noodles and pad see ew. The noodles had an odd texture, and the sauce was unusually thick, almost coagulated, and very salty. Thai food is one of our regular takeout choices, and we’ve never had these dishes prepared like this.
The service itself was fine, but the unexpected service fee left a bad impression. I normally tip 20% when dining out, but hidden or poorly disclosed fees make the experience frustrating.

The food tasted good, but the service was quite slow. They also added a mandatory 20% tip for a party of only four people. I also got terrible food poisoning after eating sushi here. The lunch specials are a good deal but you may need to ask for that menu.
