On April 24th at 9:13 PM, we ordered a large Memphis BBQ Chicken pizza, Parmesan Bread Bites, and two garlic dipping cups through Uber Eats. The order number is 79AFD. The total came to $49.04 after taxes, fees, delivery costs, and tip. Supposedly, the driver left the order at our door… but it never arrived, at least not into our hands. We went out to check and even looked around all the neighboring houses in case it was delivered to the wrong place, but it wasn’t anywhere. We also clearly specified the exact apartment in the delivery instructions. We contacted Uber and they told us they can’t issue a refund because the driver belongs to the restaurant, so they basically wash their hands of the situation. We also called the restaurant. They asked for our phone number and said they would call us back, but we’re still waiting and haven’t received any response. Very disappointing experience. For this reason alone, I would never order from this place again. If this gets resolved, I will update this review. ————————————————————————— I’d like to update my previous review. Today, April 29th at around 8:30 PM, we went directly to the store to try to resolve the issue with our order, and we would like to give a special mention to Gabriela. After the incident, we called the store, they took our details and told us they would call us back, but we never received any response. That’s why we decided to go to the store in person. Grabriela provided us outstanding service: she was very kind at all times, extremely helpful, and proactive in finding a solution from the very beginning. Thanks to her, our order was sent again to our home, and they also kindly included the drinks. Because of Gabriela’s excellent service, I’m updating my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I’m not giving 5 stars due to what happened initially, but we are very grateful to her for not putting up any obstacles and for making everything so easy throughout the process. This is how customer service should be. Thank you very much for your help and for the way you handled the situation. We hope this doesn’t happen again, but we truly appreciate the professionalism and care we received today.
