  Soda is always over priced. Fruit (especially strawberries) are not great; strawberries are almost always bad or have white stuff growing on them. It's convenient, but I think I'll be trying Big Y in Monroe soon.

  I was in stop and stop today on Quality St in Trumbull. I have been shopping at the location since 1999. Today as I was checking out and the self checkout. The cashier starts going thru my groceries said she was making sure the I had scanned my Macintosh apples. I have never had that happen. I was the only person of color checking out. She didn’t check the white customers items.She only checked mine. When I complained to management she replied some customers ring up the wrong items. I’ve never seen them check other customers. I called the police because I was clearly discriminated against. I asked the officer do you shop here? He replied yes! Do they go thru your bags? His response was no never. Interesting blatant racism. I’m interested to know has any one else had their fruit or groceries checked before?

  The cashier Fernando at the service desk was so helpful and helped me pick my items. I think he deserves a raise

  I went shopping at stop and shop I went to the cashier and this helpful male Fernado had given me such good service I think he deserves a raise ☺️

  This store was consistently the best S&S around for many years. A few years ago, it began to decline. It's cleaner than Bridgeport S&S, but this store is particularly poor when it comes to their prepared foods section. Poor quality and presentation in comparison with other S&S locations.
