  The bottle recycling department is a mess, they have vans full or recycled park in the parking lot , with zero control, of course they are always full, people waiting in line with huge black bags, and when finally you get a turn they are not longer working because they are full, then you try to signal de guy that is doing the carts and he ignores you completely, mainly because 100% of the time they are on there cell phones, what a lack of respect, since last week I only go to Shoperite to do my shopping and recycling, very disappointed at Stop and Shop😞

  Usually this is a great place to shop. The only issues I've had have been at the deli counter. The sign clearly states the deli hours are 7am - 9pm 7 days a week. On more than 1 occasion we've been there well before 9pm only to be told they're closed. Tonight my wife and I went and it was 7:30pm. I got there and asked for an order only to be told once again. "We're closed" I mentioned the hours on the sign right behind their heads and the woman (Maryann) looked shocked like she's never seen the sign before. We've been going there for years. Its always been there. They reiterated that they were closed. My wife and I totally "Karen"ed and went to the manager. He looked at his watch and said "the store closes at 9. They close an hour before the store closes". I said. "Okay. But it's 7:30. So they should be open for another half hour, no?" He then had us follow him to the deli and told them to make what we needed. Maryann gave us attitude. The man (Salak) was at least pleasant and helped us. When I told him.what I wanted he said it's in the counter there. I said no it isn't. He then proceeded to walk around and looked. Then said, "Oh. There's none there." 🙄 While waiting... another customer came to the deli. When she saw Maryann cleaning she asked "oh. Are you closed?" Salak said "No We are now open" Maryann kept saying things under her breath the whole time I was there. Other customers came up wanting items from the deli. If you are going to close early because you are lazy....maybe change the sign to reflect the hours so people don't bother you. I have had wonderful encounters with other workers at the deli there. But Maryann should maybe change her profession. She clearly doesn't like to work and doesn't do well dealing with customers.

  Second time making an order in this specific store, and both times had been a mess! First time they had me waiting 20 minutes for curbside pick up even when I called the store myself while in the parking spot since I had my grandson with me, and I end up walking in to pick up my items. This second time, I received the text message and when arrived to the store to pick up, the order is not ready and have to wait an hour to pick it up. I had used other Stop and Shop stores, and had not been having any issues at all, never again!!
