  This is specifically about the deli counter. We were there the other night and waiting (there was another man there looking at the pre-cut meats so not near where the deli cutter was, she makes eye contact with us asks us if she can help us this guy starts yelling his order from across the store at this point. He cuts in front of my husband and says he’s been waiting there for 10 min and guess what the deli cutter took that man first said he’s had been waiting there even though she asked us if she could help us and then both her and the costumer made my husband and I feel embarrassed that we got annoyed by this and belittled us. Maybe if you had the deli number device fixed this wouldn’t happened. If we weren’t next then why did she make eye contact with us and ask if she could help us. This was a very annoying and embarrassing situation that felt unnecessary please do better deli counter and stop and shop as a whole. And there IS deli etiquette that the deli lady should have followed and what happened wasn’t it and you should never make a loyal customer feel belittled for feeling confused and annoyed by a situation like this.

  Bought some Care one dental floss. Package read 55 yards. I got 3 feet before it jammed. All the Stop and Shop brands suck. Poor quality and substandard ingredients. I wish it wasn't the closest supermarket.

  It's like all other Stop and Shops. Ok produce. Gimmick "sales". Annoying digital coupons. Just let me "clip all" I probably buy only 3% of things on the digital coupons. I don't look at the flyer. I look for the tag while I physically shop. Then I have to play your stupid game of opening the app, logging in. Resetting my password because I never use the app anymore since getting a Costco membership. Then hunt for the coupon to "clip" to save $0.79. All in all the "other" grocery store in town offers much more at a better price. For the most part. But I live closer to Stop and Shop. It's "meh". Oh... And look at the meat very closely. I've found well expired meat several times. Like it should have been taken away 4 days prior. I have the pictures to prove it.

  Walked in today and was greeted by tons of strange looks from the employees... so odd... anyways I started shopping, and of course the item I wanted was expired. I then grabbed another item, which was also expired! Why does stop and shop insist on selling expired food? The store was mostly clean, and Alex at self checkout was nice so that's a plus. Stop & Shop, please hire less people that look at customers like they're crazy and more people that are friendly, and THROW OUT EXPIRED FOOD!
