  There are many grocery options in the area. I like this store for the parking situation. My major concern is expiration dates. Many of the prepared perishable (not frozen) foods are often three to five days expired. Management should take note. Not a bad store, it just needs more quality control.

  I really never post Google Reviews, and I am really never one to complain, but I just went to this location for the first time today and had something totally unacceptable happen-- not at all a good first impression. I bought a jar of Thai peanut sauce to make chicken satay for dinner. When I went to open it at home, the top of the contents looked seriously discolored. My mom mixed it up and took a bite to try it, assuming that it must've just been something about how it settled in the jar. Well, I checked the expiration date right after and it said FEBRUARY 2026. It's the end of July. I'm really hoping she doesn't get sick from that. Should I have checked the expiration date before I left the store or before I went to open and try the product? Yes, but who would expect their food fresh from the grocery store to be multiple months expired and gray?! I've seen things be a few days expired at the grocery store because it didn't sell fast enough but FEBRUARY? And it's a jar so if that's the EXPIRATION date, how long has the product actually been sitting there? I have no clue how that was even at the front of the shelf. That indicates chronic problems to me, not just a weird one-off mistake, because how was it never noticed in all these months that it was expired? How do you have a food product that could've been produced like a year ago on your shelves? This makes me never want to go to this Stop & Shop ever again except to return the product...

  Do NOT shop here! This place treats honest customers like thieves. (It's a zero star if possible) This store relies on self-checkout and self-scanning to cut their own labor costs, essentially forcing customers to do the work of their employees for free. But to make matters worse, they subject you to humiliating and random "audits." I have been selected for these audits four times recently. Each time, I was forced to completely unpack all the groceries that I had already neatly and carefully packed into my bags, just so an employee could re-scan everything. It is incredibly insulting to be treated like a potential shoplifter when you are doing nothing but shopping honestly. And when the audit proves you did absolutely nothing wrong? No apology, no compensation for your wasted time and effort—just a careless "you're good to go." On top of that, their customer service website is completely broken and loops continuously, making it impossible to even file a formal complaint. They clearly do not care about customer feedback or customer dignity. Save your time, your energy, and your self-respect. Avoid this store at all costs!
