Food is hit or miss. Not enough parking. Always busy with a slow moving line in and out. They do not know how to handle their digital pick-up drive-thru lane. Ridiculous. I always give them extra time before I get there so my order will be ready & I don’t hold anyone up. If someone drives up & their order isn’t ready— move them along. If they’re early, tell them to swing back around. If the orders are running late, have people park and then bring them their food when it is ready. But what do they actually do? They make every car sit and wait till they handle the one at the window. And after that they might not even open the window again and acknowledge the next car for 4-5 minutes. I’m writing this as I sit in my car in a line at least 12 cars deep wrapping around the building. I’ve been here 15 minutes and we’ve moved one car length. Everyone’s food was ordered digitally and should be ready for pick up. You’re not having to take orders or handle money. Just people picking up their food. Simsbury Chipotle, what is your issue!? This is the fifth and LAST time. If my son didn’t ask, I wouldn’t have even attempted this again.

We have ordered from this location about once a week for the past couple months. We use the "Chipotlane" exclusively so I cannot comment on service inside the facility, but our orders so far have all been correct and ready on time. This restaurant seems to have been designed with the drive-thru in mind for the primary option. In my opinion this is the fastest and most efficient way to order, and I recommend that you order ahead to take advantage of it. We are fans of the food and fast takeout so we will keep coming here for a long time.
For a new location, there's definitely room for improvement. The employee mumbled something I couldn't make out, so I assumed he was asking what I wanted. I ordered a bowl with extra rice and got about three-quarters of a scoop. When I asked for more, he stared at me for about 10 seconds, then added maybe 15 more grains.
From there it was half a scoop of chicken, about 11 pinto beans, half a scoop of salsa, and 10 slivers of cheese. I went home with my 4 oz bowl for $15.
This was the worst service ever! You have multiple employees in the store: one was creating all the orders and ringing up food, one was wiping a wall endlessly, two were wiping the stove, another was walking back and forth, and one was making mobile orders, which created a recipe for disaster. I arrived at 8:50 and my children went in to place three orders. As I sat and waited, two more customers arrived, followed by an officer. The same actions continued with the wiping of walls and stovetops, while the person making mobile orders used the area visible to customers; I thought they would quickly handle the four customers, but common sense is not so common. When the officer walked out, I went in and expressed my frustration regarding the 30 minutes of wasted time, as the young man was unable to complete three orders in a timely manner. We only received two orders because he claimed there was no chicken available, yet chicken mysteriously appeared. What a nightmare!! Chipotle more training is needed for your staff expeditiously.

Honestly for being a newly opened spot I expected it to be a lot better.
Made an order through their drive through for a bowl chips a side tortilla and a drink, it said it would be ready at 9 and gave me confirmation, showed up at 9:03 and they didn’t even have it started.
Along with this over the course of around 10 minutes three different people asked me the same thing which was what was my order/order name… and they all said it would be out shortly at around the 15 minute mark after my order was supposed to ready I finally got it.
When I arrived home I opened up my bowl to see a tiny portion of food… Like really? and on top of that my salsa was leaking out of the bowl and out of the bag. I paid full price for maybe a third of the food I should’ve gotten. Honestly just felt scammed out of my entree but hey the chips were good i’ll give them that.
But really in all honesty I don’t know what the issue was. They weren’t busy and if they had run out of something which appeared to be rice they could have at least asked if I wanted a substitute? Honestly sad and disappointing do better.
