  I've eaten here a couple times, and also used to deliver kitchen supplies and food when I was a driver uears ago. I've told friends and family not to go here. There is a certain odor about the place that screams of a cooler that isn't cleaned regularly. I know a place with a clean cooler, because I've been in hundreds of restaurant kitchens. I was there recently for a family function, and smelled it again. Also, the apple crisp desert they provided was rancid - wasn't the only one who noticed. Get your act together, Brookside. You can be so much better.

  The best part of the brookside inn was a salad bar. I don't know why you didn't bring it back after covid, everybody raved about the bread and the salad bar 😳😳😳

  Two pieces of tasteless bread with foil wrapped butter. Asked for olive oil. Received olive oil with no garlic no parm no nothing. Meatballs were tender but bland. Little flavor. Short ribs were NOT short ribs. They tried to pass off a thick cut roast beef for short ribs. Little flavor. Was more of a stew. Husbands chicken scarpiello was mediocre at best. All dinners coming out of kitchen looked like frozen tv dinners. Not sure what the hype is. Would not go back for free. Very much a diner rather than a restaurant. We wanted to love it.
