  I want to love this place because the food is consistently incredible and the atmosphere is great, but the service is a massive letdown every single time I visit. If you like sitting at the bar, be prepared for a frustrating experience. Every bartender I’ve encountered here seems extremely inexperienced. They simply don't know how to properly manage a bar or attend to customers, and the pace is incredibly slow. My recent visit on a busy Saturday evening highlighted a deeper operational issue. We sat at our table for 20 minutes without a single staff member acknowledging us. I finally had to flag down the host just to remind them we hadn't been greeted or seen yet. I'm not sure if they were severely understaffed—which falls on management—or if the host simply failed to communicate with the waitstaff, but a 20-minute wait just to get water or order drinks is unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. The kitchen team is doing an amazing job, but management desperately needs to step up, properly train the front-of-house staff, and fix the communication gap between the host stand and the floor. This bar/restaurant/pizza joint has the potential to be an absolute powerhouse—and honestly, they already are on the quality of the food alone. The setup they have on New Canaan Avenue in Norwalk is absolutely perfect. If management could just bring in a couple of experienced, sharp bartenders, they would have an excellent bar scene to match the kitchen's output. I really hope they make the adjustment.

  I was doing a DoorDash order but the clerk said it was a test that he tried to cancel; for my troubles he gave me a free pizza! It tasted great

  I’ve been a loyal customer of this location for years, as my kids absolutely loved it. However, today was a complete disappointment. The manager’s attitude towards me regarding my order was appalling. They claimed to have system issues and informed me that my order would be canceled even though they stated it wasn’t on file .To make matters worse, the food arrived and hr later after I had already placed an order from another place. When I called back, the manager was being extremely loud and talking over me, insisting that it wasn’t his problem that he didn’t have my order on file. This place lacks is customer service It’s sad that one person can ruin the entire experience. This man should not be a manager who cannot even communicate calmly with customers and speak to them in a belittling manner. This was at their Norwalk location.
