On July 23, 2026 I called this restaurant because I couldn't find the place because it's was down in a driveway in the back of a building. So I called to ask for directions, as I was talking on the phone to verify the location, I asked the owner to stay on the phone with me because I was scared because of how the restaurant was located in the back of a driveway, he responded by saying "You are calling from New York" As if rape and crimes doesn't happen in Norwalk Connecticut, while his restaurant is in the hood in Norwalk down a driveway behind a building. If I could give him a zero, I would. I did not buy any food because I couldn't trust him after the way he spoke to me. He was rude, disrespectful and insensitive. I'm a woman living in a world where human trafficking is common and all I asked him to do was stay on the phone with me and he cursed me out. When I attempted to explain to him why I asked him to stay on the phone with, he said to me "you come for food, what you want' I reply, I don't want any food from while you are behaving like this and he walked away into back room. Please don't go to this restaurant if you want proper customer service and respect.

Excellent service and the food was definitely on point! Forgot to capture the beauty on that plate. FYI, the spot is a little hard to find. Its down the tiny driveway behind Coals.

It’s difficult to recommend a business that expects to be paid by its own customers while refusing to pay another small business for merchandise they ordered, accepted, and kept. The outstanding balance still remains unpaid.
This business owner, Luis, ordered custom shirts from me, accepted the completed order, and still owes the balance. Despite multiple attempts to resolve it professionally, payment has never been made.
If someone is willing to keep merchandise without paying the business that made it, that says a lot about how they conduct business.
I believe customers should know when a business owner doesn’t hold themselves to the same standards they expect from others.
Also - Before placing a food order, i’d recommend you step in and look at the condition of the kitchen and see if you still have appetite after.

This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away from the street a bit of a “hole in the wall” BUT shares space with the neighboring boat club so access to bar and outdoor patio looking over the water. The FOOD!! Is excellent! If you are vegan this is a MUST!! I had the garden chicken dish and my husband had the ribs. Both vegan both so tasty!! The man who owns the place was so friendly and informative. We will definitely be back!!!
