  I was really disappointed with my lunch experience at the Nordstrom Café. I ordered the Korean chicken hot honey sandwich expecting a fairly standard chicken sandwich, but what arrived was two enormous, tough pieces of fried chicken drenched in sauce. The dish was overwhelmingly greasy and oily, and the portion was so unexpectedly large and unappealing that I lost my appetite entirely. This was not what I’d expect from the restaurant at a nice department store. I ultimately asked for the dish to be taken away and requested the bill. I was polite about it and acknowledged that perhaps I had simply ordered the wrong thing, but it was still frustrating to spend $22 on a meal I couldn’t bring myself to eat, essentially leaving me with fries and my beer. If I was on the other side, I would have offered something to make up for the bad experience. I understand that portion sizes and personal tastes vary, but the dish was not at all what I expected, and the quality and texture of the chicken were particularly disappointing. At this price point, I expected a much more enjoyable lunch. Unfortunately, I left feeling that my money had been wasted.

  Unique experience in a severe storm we found ourselves on the third floor of Nordstrom. Great service. Nice little view looking out if you’re able to get one of the window seats

  Absolutely fine experience! We had a dip, a burger, and a salad, which were all beyond our expectation. I would use the term 'fine' as they were all compelling. Lastly, our server Anna showed what true hospitality is. We feel so welcomed and relieved to be hassle free during our moments here. The only drawback was that train never passed while dining and our daughter was a bit disappointed 🫠

  I left disappointed by the value at Nordstrom’s restaurant in Norwalk. An $18 cocktail, more than $15 for an artichoke and spinach dip, and $26.50 for a wild salmon Niçoise salad felt excessively overpriced for what was served. The food was acceptable, but nothing about the meal justified those prices. The only highlight of the experience was our waitress, who was phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. Unfortunately, excellent service alone wasn’t enough to overcome the sticker shock and poor overall value.

  Our server was very welcoming and helpful. The fish n chips and chicken tacos were delicious. This restaurant did not disappoint at all. I will definitely be coming back here. The prices were reasonable, and I highly recommend this place!
