- 1R11 Valley RoadSep 9, 20265.0This is a very clean location easy access and parking is ok, there are severial restaurants in plaza so can get congested at times. This five guys is always too notch and clean, uses fresh real beef burgers, great fries cooked in peanut oil not the junk oil like the garage.

Today at 11:55 to 12:30 I went into this five guys and placed my order there were 3 employees one female Manager in black ringing the register and two employees in red. One was making the burgers and one was setting up the buns and toppings. At noon the manager and one employee walked in the back and for better of 20 minutes stayed there. Just as two man came in so the employee on burgers was left to make burgers, drop fries, bag orders, take orders at counter, and handle online orders. Many many many people came in. Over the course of 20 minutes this employee did an amazing job and stayed calm and did every position while customers stayed patient and orders got out very slowly but was NOT the employees fault the manager walked out of the back saw a full dining room of customers waiting she asked a DoorDash courier if he need help then turned to the only employee working all stations and told him the courier was waiting and went back in the back room. This is wrong on so many levels!!!! Such poor management!!! She needs training immediately!!!!

Last night I stopped in to get a burger and fries for me and my son. The minute I walked into the restaurant it felt like a heat wave. Upon asking one of the workers behind the counter they told me the AC was not working in the store. It felt like it was 80 degrees in the dining area so I can only imagine it felt 100+ for the workers. I couldn’t even eat my food inside because of how much smoke was blowing around the restaurant and how humid it felt. I feel horrible for the employees but I wouldn’t want to sit in a restaurant and deal with that much heat. They need to get that fixed asap. Completely unacceptable and will be contacting the town of North Haven as my husbands brother is a member of the City Hall Board to let them know how ridiculous this is that we allow this business to operate in our town and they can’t even afford to give us a comfortable dining experience. Should be ashamed.
