  I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Cava in Newington. The portions were shockingly small for the price. I left feeling like I paid premium restaurant prices for what amounted to a snack. The bowls were skimpy, the protein portions looked measured down to the ounce, and even the toppings felt sparse. For a place that markets itself as fresh and healthy, the value just isn’t there. Spending that much money and still leaving hungry is frustrating. There are plenty of places nearby that give you better quality, larger portions, and a much better overall experience for the same price or less. I won’t be going back.

  Nayya was amazing today. I was in a rush trying to make it to an appointment and just needed a drink, and she went out of her way to help me by giving it to me for free and wishing me a good day. Small acts of kindness like that really stand out and can completely change someone’s day. Great customer service and such a kind person — thank you, Nayya!

  Absolutely ridiculous. I paid for a bowl and got what looked like scraps. They gave me barely any rice — literally a few bites — and almost no protein. The portion was so small it looked worse than a kids meal. When I politely asked for a little more rice, they told me it would be an extra charge. Charging extra for a spoon of rice after already serving such tiny portions is honestly embarrassing.On top of that, the workers and manager were extremely rude and disrespectful. Instead of fixing the issue, they acted annoyed and treated me like I was asking for something unreasonable. Terrible customer service, terrible portions, and a complete waste of money. I will never come back here again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

  There’s nothing better than walking into Cava and Nayya is working. She’s truly the best always making sure everything is right. Great customer service. I had to tell her this today so she knows her hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. She keeps me coming back, thank you Nayya for providing great customer service in a world where it’s hard to find now a days. Please recognize her!

  I was a 4-5 times per week customer of this CAVA, but I won’t return again. I generally order carry out on the way home from work, and my order is usually either done or just a few minutes from being done. Today, I ordered ahead as usual and got a receipt, but didn’t get the normal text. My order wasn’t ready, and I talked to a cashier. He looked at his screen, saw my order, and said it would be coming up. After 10 minutes, I went up to talk to a different cashier, she saw my order on the computer, pressed “send”, and only then did I get my text saying we’ve received your order. I proceeded to wait another 10 minutes while standing in front of the cash register, just to receive nothing. I can understand the occasional mistake (they make plenty), but I won’t accept an employee watching me wait and not even sending my order to the kitchen after I arrived. It’s apparently not important for this location to retain customers as consistent as I’ve been, and I will caution others from going to this location. I absolutely love CAVA and the food - the poor rating is specifically related to the disrespect from the staff.
