  Went for brunch with three friends. We were in town for a conference. I always search black owned, and was pleasantly surprised to fine this place. The place was very clean, the food was amazing! We had oxtail grits and chicken and waffles with sides of eggs. Mimosas were good. We ordered the bottle with cranberry and orange juice. It was a light rain so we couldn't enjoy the outdoors or the views. The owner from Haiti 🇭🇹 ❤️ came to ask us how we enjoyed ourselves. We got a chance to tell her it was delicious! I will be back if I'm ever in the area.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Favorite Bistro in New London is truly a gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing meal or a special night out. The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can tell that a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall dining experience. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like valued guests. It’s not often that you find a restaurant where the food, atmosphere, and service all come together so perfectly. Favorite Bistro definitely lived up to its name, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience in New London. We will absolutely be back! ❤️

  Food was below average. We walked around the side of the restaurant & & saw an open door to the street with garbage, it seemed unsanitary. We walked in and a few staff members looked at us but never came over to greet us or get us a table. They served water tasted like dirt. Their Smashburger consisted of two patties, and they don't ask how you'd like them cooked so they were probably frozen then heated. They did have good music. I wouldn't come here for food but maybe a drink in the future.

  I've been coming to Favorites since they opened a few years ago, but I've never gotten around to writing a review. They absolutely deserve one, so this is why I've come back over and over! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on the main strip of Bank Street is this Haitian/Caribbean themed restaurant. There's no private parking, but there's usually some street parking available. But once inside the decor is kept light, creating a vary open and spacious feeling. There's a flower wall of course with some neon signs and stuff. But if you continue all the way through the restaurant you can go right out the back onto their patio which faces the water! It's such a beautiful vibe out there. However, the Amtrak train runs along the water as well and every so many minutes you may get a blast from the train's horn. Lol. But the atmosphere is lively with good music, but certainly not loud. Service: Majin (sp) and her husband (the owners) are almost always present. You can find them in the kitchen, behind the bar or out front talking to guests. They're so friendly, personable and welcoming. KP is the bartender with such a bright and bubbly personality! Food/Drinks: I've been here about 3 to 4 times and have had so many things here. You can't go wrong with the corn ribs, conch chowder, any flavor of wings or the brunch tostadas! Value: Nothing too crazy. Not expensive, but not cheap. You do get your money's worth, I can tell you that! In conclusion, I'll keep on coming here. I love the atmosphere, location and of course the food! Check this place out if you're in the area!
