- TTTriSarahtopsSep 20, 20262.0My husband and I try not to stop here because every single time we do, one or both of our drinks are wrong. Today we stopped because we were exhausted and needed the pick-me-up. When we ordered, my husband told the young lady my coffee, it got silent for almost a minute, and then she asked what else we wanted. My husband ordered his and we drove to the window. We paid and she gave my husband my coffee, which I could immediately see wasn’t what I had ordered. I had asked for a Large Tiramisu Cloud Latte with oatmilk, and there was no cold foam and no flavor in the drink. My husband asked for it to be corrected, and the young lady gave him attitude and told him to keep the wrong drink because they can’t take it back. Fine. She brings out his coffee and another cup a few moments later, tells us to have a nice day and walked away. It still wasn’t the latte and wasn’t a large; the drink was stark white and she gave us a medium. One sip later and we threw the drink out, as it was a cup of cream with tiramisu flavor in it. My husband took a few sips of his drink and said his wasn’t right either, it was the wrong milk and no flavor. I worked for DD for a decade and know this is unacceptable. Listening is a big part of the job, which it looks like didn’t happen here. My husband asked for a pumpkin with cream and got plain with skim milk. I asked for a specific latte and got a cup of flavored cream. For what people are paying for coffee at shops nowadays, we expect it to be what we ordered. Not a cup of cream with a flavor.
