  Worst experience trying to make a money order tonight; customer service was terrible they know zero laws and how the transfer of money works. They tried to turn us away very disrespectfully and refused to apologize or admit they were wrong. We eventually got our money order but only after properly educating the staff on the law and teaching them how to do their jobs properly. Absolutely disgusting and rude behavior, not how you treat a customer at all.

  Good selection, good sales, and very helpful staff. Clean and pleasant. Better price than other Stop and Shops in the area (especially those in New Haven)

  Pharmacy here is terrible. Over the years have used them multiple times but they often don’t have what is prescribed, don’t tell you until you get there, OR they only have a partial dose and make you come back again. This has happened multiple times with amoxicillin for my kids. I don’t plan to use their pharmacy again.

  So it's their policy to check ID for alcohol sales and I understand that, what I don't get is why the self checkout person felt the need to take my wallet out of my hand so she could check the expiration date closely (it wasn't expired) are we looking for ways to annoy our customers? It's like she was looking for a way to be difficult.
