  1. I'm not a vegan. 2. I didn't even know it was a vegan restaurant when I walked in. I just happened to be there today since it's my birthday. Trying something new. They were out of the cheeseburger, which was fine since I wasn't feeling in the mood for that anyway. I ordered the Burrito Bowl and lemonade. The bowl came to me quick--much quicker than I was expecting. Anyway, this was a new place and experience for me. And with new things, I was concerned about the overall taste and quality of the food. I've had "vegan" specific food before that left me very, very upset. I am apprehensive when it comes to vegan food. The bowl was familiar, but it did have a descriptor that said "taco protein". Not very informative, so I was a bit wary. Upon tasting it, however, my concerns were swept away. The bowl was delicious. Good greens, good peppers, good avocado, rice and protein. I had very little to gripe about the food. In fact, my only gripe was that the portion size was a bit too much for me. Still, the food was good, my server was nice, and the atmosphere was comfy.

  I've been here a few times and I enjoyed it each time. Vegan restaurants are few and far between, so that is immediately positive, but I also enjoyed the food, the southern plate was very filling with good variety, I've had it twice. I loved the cornbread, it was moist and sweet, I think I would like the tofu better with a different dipping sauce but that is easily fixed, the cheeseburger was satisfying as well, I tried some of my mother's, just very good if wanting something like that. The nachos could have been a meal for both of us. The coconut cake was a yummy indulgence. Although the food might take some time and I definitely prefer sitting in a booth rather than one of the small, wiry chairs we sat in once, I just have to look at the reviews and think people are very nitpicky over this restaurant, perhaps because it is vegan they are holding it to some strange ideal. I fondly remember my birthday lunch a couple years later!

  Went here for a friend’s birthday. This food is delicious!!! Everything is cooked well the flavors explode The espresso is great. What an amazing experience Hands down one of the best places to eat Would recommend to a friend!

  I cannot say enough nice things about this restaurant. The atmosphere is A+, cozy and welcoming. The service was fantastic. The food is above and beyond delicious. Hands down, the best sweet potato fries I've had in my life!!
