  This review is for Debi in the seafood department. Every time I go To the seafood department, I get greeted by Debbie. She always has a warm smile. A very caring attitude, always willing to help. I can't say enough good things about her. I wish every person in every store I go to would treat me like Debi does. This is the second review i've given her because she deserves it. I hope her supervisor sees this and recognizes her in meetings or whatever they do. She deserves many, many kudos.The least I can do is publicly thank her.. In let her know how much I appreciate her. Thank you Debi for a job very well done..

  so this is pretty much the only real supermarket in Meriden, I dont really count Big Y because it is closer to Wallingford. So anyone i go in today 4/14 to pick up a few things.. picked up some fruit because im a fruit eating machine. Grabbed some oranges, they had them on sale for 77cents each. Finish shopping and head home.. Right away wanted to try one of the oranges.. I open it up and couldnt believe it.. Some nasty black stuff on the inside. No clue how it got there, but this isnt the first time having an issue with fruit from Stop and Shop. Will include pictures. So people before ya let your kids just grab some fruit, if ya got it from Stop and Shop make sure to check it first. Cut it open and make sure its ok. Apparently you cannot trust the outside looking good for it to be good. keep ur babies and yourself safe... this time it was oranges, 1 other time bananas and before that a cantaloupe and some blueberries had bugs in em.. Keep a good eye on your food, because this stores employees just put it out and dont eyeball anything.
