  Just to address one of the new reviews mentioning aggressive panhandling outside this Stop & Shop I have also witnessed that before on multiple occasions. The store itself is pretty good; it’s ongoing issues outside like the begging, lack of lighting at night and potholes driving in and out of the parking lot that drop my rating.

  I went to the Stop & Shop in Manchester and was approached and harassed by two panhandlers right outside the store. It was aggressive enough that I felt uncomfortable and unsafe, especially knowing I often shop there with my young child. This is not a one-off problem. Panhandlers should not be allowed to harass customers at the entrance of a grocery store. Stop & Shop management and/or the Manchester Police need to address this. Families should be able to shop without being confronted or made to feel unsafe. Until something is done about the panhandling and the lack of security presence, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

  In just the last week, I've bought spoiled steaks and bad Brussel sprouts. Shopped here for years and its been rapidly going downhill over the last year or so. I'm done

  This store has many items on the shelves & in the prepared foods-to-go cases that are past the best by/sell by dates. Be sure to always check before purchasing!!

  It looks like store manager not keeping an eye or not doing their job. Please go to another recycling center. Machines are broken and filthy. Yes I could have went somewhere else but due gas prices being high I finish my recycling there. Never again.
