  I had a wonderful experience at Sri Balaji in Manchester, CT. The food was fresh, authentic, and packed with amazing South Indian flavors. We tried the dosa, idli, and special veg thali, and every dish was delicious and perfectly prepared. The chutneys and sambar were especially flavorful and tasted homemade. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The restaurant was clean, the service was quick, and the overall atmosphere was warm and family-friendly. If you're looking for authentic Indian vegetarian food in the area, I highly recommend Sri Balaji. I'll definitely be coming back!

  The coffee here is genuinely good, and the cut mirchi is tasty too — those are the only things I’d come back for. Everything else fell short. We went as a group of 10 and ended up having to walk up and get our own food and drinks ourselves — they were very hesitant to actually serve at the table, like they just didn’t want to. Most of the dishes tasted under-salted and bland. The punugulu wasn’t fully cooked inside, and the chutneys, while okay, were also under-seasoned and didn’t have much flavor depth. Service needs real improvement — it’s not a staffing issue, it feels like a willingness issue. Won’t be rushing back unless it’s just for a quick coffee and mirchi.

  Worst experience ever! I ordered Chana Masala and Mysore Masala Dosa. The dosa was served without sambar, and the staff did not inform us about this when we placed our order. When we later asked for sambar, we were told that it had already run out. The Chana Masala was bland, watery, and lacked flavor. Even the Mysore Masala Dosa did not taste like a proper Mysore dosa. Overall, we did not enjoy the food or the service. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in Connecticut.
