  I have 4 issues with Stop & Shop for the lack of great customer service, for the one who pays their salary.. 1. Everytime I go to do groceries early in the day theirs never a shopping kart.. I've notice theirs only shopping Karts after like 7pm but on the right side next to the bottle room entrance... Bcuz the left entrance towards the pharmacy is always empty wether is day or night... I've seen these young man only pulling in 2 to 3 shopping carts in...But I see this tall Spanish man always maintaining his spot filled with carts... So I only shop when he there and only go inside thru his entrance, bcuz I know there's a shopping cart for me. 2. The bottle room area they should have someone working that area.. So they can maintain the machine empty and the area cleared of debris... Plus keep orderly especially when all the homeless comes cash their bottles in there.. I don't mind them at all bcuz they have a right too, but sometimes I've seen arguments and fights among themselves... Plus I feel there should be only be a limit of people inside the bottle room.. 3. The bathroom I swear is so filthy and dirty that I won't even let my dog use it... The maintains people should keep that clean at all times, especially the ladies room... Plus I feel that staff shouldn't have to use the same bathroom as the public do.. 4. For self checkout there should always be 2 employees there at all time.. Since those old timers machine always getting stuck and delaying your time... I feel stop n shop needs to up grade on that and fast.... But overall food selection is good and has its good quality... But the bad qualities brings their best into their worst... I know stop n shop can improve better than this.. I speak by managing experience from my prior management work....

  Unfortunately I have found mold on more than one object in this store. This is my latest find. Many of the ceiling tiles are also covered in mold and disgusting. They really need to CLEAN the store.

  I'm new to this particular Stop & Shop. I moved so I come to this one but I used to go to the one in wethersfield, Jordan lane shopping center. It's just the same but set up the opposite way. It just takes getting used to that's all.
