    The Hamden store is filthy! I can’t believe that the management looks at the conditions of this store and think “ hey, this place looks sanitary”! The floors are dirty well beyond a single days use, some of the meat cases have crust, odors and ice buildup - the store is dingy and’s dark - and don’t even get me started on that bottle return area (that will literally make you vomit). I live closest to the Hamden store, but will go out of my way to shop the North Haven or Wallingford Stop & Shop stores whenever possible. When there’s stores that actually keep up with cleaning and maintenance, they have my confidence in their products. This is our food after all. Shame on you Hamden Stop & Shop! You should do better…much better!

    Uncomfortable ordering delicatessen, there is an older POC man in deli that has a disgusting attitude whenever you ask to order lunch meat. I’ve never seen anything like it, he doesn’t speak, he slams stuff down, he gets mad when you ask for more deli meat.

    I picked up and Irish soda bread as a splurge item and when I sliced into the middle of it, it wasn’t fully baked. Needless to say it was very disappointed.
