We did pickup and everything was excellent! The lobster shooters were the standout of the entire meal: rich, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. I’d go back just for those alone.

Orienta was recommended to me, and it absolutely lived up to it.
I stopped in around 5:45 and grabbed a seat at the bar—it wasn’t too busy when I arrived, but by the time I left, the place was packed, which always feels like a good sign.
I started with a Soccer Mom Spritz and really appreciated that they had thoughtful mocktails on the menu. For food, I had the vegetable dumplings, salt and pepper cod, and chocolate mousse for dessert—everything was fresh, flavorful, and just really well executed. The food isn’t overly fussy, which I loved—it’s approachable but still feels elevated. Portions were also spot on for a solo diner.
The service struck a great balance: friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The staff were happy to chat when I was, but also gave me space to enjoy my meal. I also noticed a lot of regulars—there were plenty of “so good to see you” and “it’s been a while” moments between staff and guests, which always makes a place feel special.
And I’m still dreaming about the chocolate mousse—it was that good.
Overall, a great spot and one I’d absolutely come back to.

Total home run—easily one of the best in Fairfield County.
THE FOOD: Every single dish slapped. The absolute standouts were the lobster shooters, spicy beef dumplings, and the chicken grapow. Our group also loved the salt & pepper cod and the famous crepe (the very dish that beat Bobby Flay!). We finished with the chocolate mousse with candied orange rind and a passion fruit sorbet pavlova—both were the perfect end to the meal.
THE ATMOSPHERE: The space is gorgeous and intimate. It’s dimly lit—perfect for a date night or special occasion—and the decor is stunning. Between the incredible paintings and the bright red banquette seating, you feel transported to a more romantic, bygone era.
THE SERVICE & EXPERIENCE: Service was outstanding. Our server was kind, knowledgeable, and never made us feel rushed, even as we lingered later into the evening.
The highlight of the night was the hospitality. After we mentioned being fans of Beat Bobby Flay, our server offered to introduce us to the Chef (who won against Bobby in the hit Food Network show). Meeting him in person and hearing about his winning dish made the evening truly special. This is a Greenwich gem—highly recommend!
