I woke up this morning, and got some gabbagool. Then I woke up the next day and got some more gabbagool.
This was a FABULOUS choice for our last dinner in CT!
Atmosphere was very enjoyable. Lovely jazz playing in background.
Our server, Antonio, is the son of the owner. Service was spot on! The support staff was a lovely gentleman. A truly enjoyable evening!
We arrived early enough to partake of happy hour (3-6)!
Good was outstanding! Half of our party of 2 is GF, there was an extensive GF menu available! As is is a wine bar, we had a lovely time drinking both cocktails and wine (Chianti & Malbec).
Dinner was fab ( GF lamb chops & shrimp pasta), of course we followed up with desert! (GF lime pie & pistachio cake, & espresso). We are returning to PNW with an admiration & longing for Gabagool!

We were first timers here with high hopes. We ordered apps. Calamari and zucchini chips. Both were ok. Not great though. Entrees were lamb chops, again, just ok. Orechetti(probably spelled wrong) that dish was very good. Then a pasta dish with shrimp, olives, sundried tomatoes and capers. The pasta was cooked perfectly but the shrimp was so overcooked. Also, and this is just my opinion. That dish didn't need olives and capers. Made it too salty and overpowered the rest of the flavors. Dessert was absolutely delicious!!! Pistachio cake and cannolis. Can't say we would come back.
