  Aside from the too high prices, the staff is extraordinary! John the manager is exceptional, also. He doesn't 'point' to item locations, he takes you. He'll answer questions without seeming annoyd, also. However, been waiting 3 years to hear from a district manager to compliment the store, especially John. Three emails, three calls to customer service and nothing as of 3/15/26. Imagine if I had complaints/negatives towards the Darien store!

  The bottle return process is horrible here. Multiple times I was there with just one bag of cans and in front of me was someone who had a cart full of cans- -10 shopping bags full of cans which is above the allowed returns by law per day. The manager of that department needs to say something about the quantity being returned and not allow it. It also doesn’t help that each time I go only 1 machine is working. Always one is broken. Please fix this process and monitor the amount people are returning!!

  The manager Kevin assisted ny brother who has ALS with a product offered buy one get one free. He was very gracious to him to make sure he was taken care of.

  Mr. Duff is the best always friendly and always helping me find the best deal he runs a great place!
